Below is our current Covid-19 health and safety policy, based on NY State guidelines and those from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

  • All adults have been fully vaccinated.

  • A maximum of 10 kids are allowed in the 1500-square-foot space.

  • Masks are required in the space.

  • During snack time or when drinking water, children are asked to maintain a safe distance from each other.

  • We clean the space before the children arrive and after they leave.

  • The children wash their hands as soon as they arrive in the space and there is hand sanitizer for the children to use as well.

  • We ask that all parents fill in a brief health screening questionnaire before each Play Club session regarding symptoms, exposure to Covid-19, and travel.

  • Adults and children are required to stay home if they test positive for Covid-19.

  • We will notify families immediately, without disclosing the identity of the child or adult, if someone who has been at Play Club tests positive.

  • Children exhibiting symptoms such as a fever of 100.4 or higher, coughing, shortness of breath, or fatigue will not be allowed to attend Play Club.

  • If a child becomes ill with Covid-19 related symptoms while at Play Club they will need to leave immediately with their parent/caregiver.

  • Volunteer absences and kids’ or families’ exposure may lead to canceled sessions.

We are doing our very best to adhere to these procedures to ensure the safety of the children and volunteers. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
